"Back after our last visit in juli, when we enjoyed the fab steak and nierenpude. a light lunch today of delicious suppe. beautiful village pub. pity that they still play covided politicists without standing at the bar. 5 stars."

"Had a fantastic break at the Cridford Inn. Gorgeous old pub in a former Long House. Beautiful walks on the doorstep and pub have local printed walks available. Great local beers and ciders are available, and we enjoyed our evening meals and breakfasts here. Friendly helpful staff. We will definitely return here again in the future."

"We had Sunday lunch here. It's a lovely spot. Beware the very narrow entrance to the car park. The parking sensors were freaking out . Lovely welcome and service throughout. We were sat in the bar and felt it would have been better to have been in the restaurant area but we booked last minute so you get what you give right? The food was lovely, we had roasts and desserts. Not a complaint or a morsel left on our plates. We will return soon. Parking: Tight fit for bigger cars into the rear car parm."

"Good produce brunch let down by very poor service. Waitress was abrupt regarding my request for my poached eggs to be neither too runny nor too firm. She puckered her lips and sighed, could not understand why as it seemed reasonable to want my eggs as I like them. Waited a long time for food to arrive though it was not very busy, this was not a problem. Though I was disapponted that my request for lemon rather than milk was overlooked despite the order being checked. After waiting once again I went to the bar to collect the lemon myself. When it arrived another waitress picked up a slice by hand and put it on a saucer. Really astonished that she had not been taught to use tongs and quite revolted by her long finger nails handling it The smoked salmon was good quality and there was plenty of it. The eggs were obviously proper free range but were rock hard after my request. No hollandaise sauce was available as I was told this was the head chef's decision. Sounded bizarre as even Weatherspoons provide it with smoked salmon and poached eggs. What a pity to ruin good quality produce this way"

"The bar area allows dogs which is great, the menu was good and they also do a kids menu. There are two pool tables and TVs showing sports. The Sunday lunch was exceptional."

"Absolutely shocking food!! After booking for six people to turn up and told they are not taking bookings. After we explained that we’d rang and booked to be sat at a table and rather squashed in to a small space. We ordered out for to send two meals back as the steak was red and not medium to well done. Our friends sons meal arrived after two of us had finished and half the gammon was pure gristle and fatty. Ordered adult meal for his and it was tiny. When we complained we’d been told as they had booked out for a private party the chef wasn’t prepared to cook meals. The sad thing is if they’d said I’m sorry we can’t cater for you we’d have left and gone elsewhere. The food was an absolute let down from start to finish. For the price they charge and the quality of food it’s very disappointing. I will say they did however offer to reimburse the whole table which we said to refund the two meals sent back and the little boys meal. This has to be the first time ever we’ve gone home and cooked food as we’d been left hungry. The other family with us went to Mac Donald’s for the little boy."
