"I'm surprised by the other reviews stating the lack of canapes and drink all I remember seeing are waiters passing with trays of food. The canapes were lvoely to a variety of prawns, meat, fish and chips, arancini balls, etc, as well as a good selection of sweet canapes such as truffles and macaroons. The bar downstairs always seemed to be free, and it really depended on the bar staff at the time as to how many drinks you could take at a time. It was very hot, both inside and outside, so some AC indoors would have been helpful, however it wasn't completely unbearable. You needed to go outside onto the lawn to view the fireworks, and there was a rather large tree blocking some of the view, but it you got the right angle you could see a large section of the bridge and therefore had a good view. For the $255 a ticket, considering the vast quantities of food and alcohol, as well as the view, it was a great deal better value than most other venues in Sydney centre."

"Great to get the opportunity to have a frothy in Australia's oldest pub (had a couple actually). Sat outside amongst the throng with my family and it was terrific. The QR code order system works really well, and it was quite quick too. As a tourist (from Adelaide), sitting near the harbour, the bridge as a backdrop, and a cold Tooheys New Schooner in hand.... Priceless."
