"On the search for a fast breakfast I bumped onto this place. the waiter could not speak English, but did his best to understand me and actually went to get a menu in English. he was very warm and polite. the breakfast was excellent and I then talked to the cook - a nice man. very recommended - great food and service."

"Wanted some german food and got what I wanted. Not sure why it is rated less : beer ir good, food is tasty, portions are masive, could be considered for two people. Speed of servise is something that other restaurants could learn from. 5/5 would recomend."

"The parkcafé looks a bit inconspicuous on the first look and the interior decoration old baked in the 80s? Years see! but then the cake, no matter what, comes at the top! partly entirely own creations! but all of us are convinced and can be of real quality! I can't recommend anything because everyone is something special! also convinces the variety of coffees! the hospitality can still be a little hurry, not everyone likes that of the former owner!"

"We wanted to like this place and it looked inviting enough: beautiful setting, overlooking the Gendarmenmarkt, helpful wait staff, decent looking menu, etc. But the food was terrible. Probably the worst Caesar Salad I've ever had and I've had a few. Wet, wilted, bland. The asparagus soup was unexciting and not properly seasoned. Boring store-bought sliced bread served on the side in a city where the fresh-baked bread can be excellent. We had a hard time finishing our plates, and we were hungry. Avoid and look elsewhere."
