"Fabulous pub just outside bridport. The menu was interesting and the food was cooked excellently. Service was friendly and prompt. The atmosphere was lovely and the decor with the abundance of cook books and fairy lights really set the scene. Food os sourced from local suppliers and home made. It was an excellent way to end our family holiday. If you're there in the summer there's also a big beer garden and also a covered marquee for drizzly days. Highly recommended"

"The most unprofessional service I have ever experienced!!! Spoken to with contempt on arrival as we had arrived 4 minutes after our booking which was made a day before, then pointed to an area where we should sit at a specific table that had no...coasters for our drinks, no menu’s, napkins or cutlery for our food though each and every other table was set up correctly for customer arrival. Then when we had our drinks we had to take napkins from an empty table for the landlady/bar manager to have the audacity to question my partner for taking the napkins as if she was doing something wrong. Furthermore spending the whole entire time we were there with her back to the few customers that were visiting the venue chatting away to the bar staff. RUDE!!!! Thank you for the poor service, made it extremely easy to decide not to visit the venue again."

"We were accommodated at this very short-term for a family-proof. a party of 19 on a busy Saturday night was not a common feat, but josh and the team in the old white horse have absolutely excellent. eating was super hot, tasty and plentiful good choices and all absolutely delicious. the waiting staff were all very attentive, nothing was too much effort and it was nice to have such a nice service. the new manager josh was in post for only 6 weeks and must be praised for his hard work attentive, jovial and with exactly the right level of interaction/banner with the party. if it is so that he manages the place after only six weeks, it is good for the future of the brasserie. well made them all wish that they will be well earned in the future success."

"First impression where quite bad as the door mat was very dirty. The decor was decent. It is smaller than it looks but they are very well priced! My steak was under seasoned however they provided salt and pepper so i could adjust the strength. Waiters where quite friendly and attentive. Food came quite fast and piping hot. I would return again as it was a good experience. They are cash only however!"

"I had gone with a group of friends and husband we were all so excited but sadly we were very disappointed by the setvice food and customer service we had received it wasvery appauling i will never recommend this place to anyone. The manager was very rude when we had approached him about our concerns, he gave us the i dont care attitude and walked off. Only the starters were nice food was disgusting to be honest none of us finished it, it was cold and bland. Save your time and money."
