"We were extremely impressed with the service received from the staff all round we were well taken care of and the waitrons were very informative and friendly. We were a bit let down with the food, however I have to commend the manager for sorting it out professionally and fast. We ordered the massive 500g steak egg and chips and the 500g portion of prawns. The steak was great exactly what we expected however I did send my prawns back because they really were not fresh and there was more heads than tails. The second attempt was much better they brought out fresh butterflied prawns that were grilled how prawns should be. Over all I had a pleasant evening and I will be back again.<br/"

"10 out of 10. We had the most amazing view of the waterfront. Our waiter Nigel was so friedlndly and made excellent recommendations for our meals. The food was fresh the drinks were delicious. I just wish the starter menu had more that 5 items on it. Most of which consisted out of livers."

"This place came highly recommended. The beef fillet (Medaglioni di filetto) was very good and came a few sauces. The dish with three meats (la Sevaggina): wilderbeest, kudo and springbok was OK but the meats all looked the same and we weren't told which was which so had to ask. These meats also didn't have much taste. When it came to paying, I didn't want to leave as much as 10% tip but then the waiter insisted that the service charge was 10%. This is clearly not correct because mandatory service charge is only for tables of 6 or more, and we were only 2. But I wasn't in the mood for an argument. I just felt a bit cheated."

"I had an excellent birthday dinner with the family. The venison carpaccio was the perfect starter to the classic Cattle Baron Chateaubriand (highly recommend the Chateaubriand for four, you get a generous discount). The fillet was so soft it melted like butter. And of course the generous portion of mushroom and bearnaise sauce compliments the beef so well. Topped it all off with a relaxing Kahlua Dom Pedro. I haven't been there in a while and would like to revisit more frequently. Highly recommended"

"I had the chicken liver starter and it was amazing. Great beer and also they have live performances you can sing along to. A great place to go chill with friends or bae. Update: Went there again with you for a Sunday lunch. I have to say the food is absolutely amazing still. Still can't get over the chicken livers."

"I had the best service in a while from the moment i walked it the have greeted me with great attitude and after a long day that puts a smile on your face. A waiter helped me once I was seated and the manager came to me introduced himself and asked if I’m there for a meeting and asked if there is anything that he can bring during the meeting. I have found this super professional and have most definitely exceeded my expectations. Well done and keep it up. The waiter also knew all the information about the stakes and different cuts I had a rump and was perfectly cooked nice and tender."

"Sadly it was a bad birthday breakfast for us. They were totally overwhelmed due to a big turnout. The waitresses were very friendly but couldn't keep up. They did accommodate us with a special egg free breakfast due to an allergy but it took ages to arrive and the food was not up to standard. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4"
