"It was a shame our visit was so close to the lockdown as only one of 4 of us was able to get what we wanted from the menu. There was no fillet steak and no chicken available then no Stilton sauce, I appreciate that it was close to the lockdown but this was disappointing never the less."

"Really want to like this place but on the last few visits the service has really let it down. Just too relaxed. No urgency around taking orders. Having to ask for water more than once, having to go and find someone to take our orders. Get that blonde girl in from the cricklade club...great meet and greet and attention to make you feel like there is some sense of order. Food however is always decent. Just needs a bit more focus."
