"The Wallis is a very welcoming pub. Food is absolutely fantastic. The staff and manager is very friendly. We go every Saturday for lunch. Very good and friendly pub. The live music in the evening when we stay all day is absolutely great. Some very good bands. Very highly recommended to visit if you are in Wolverhampton. I've been to a few pub in the area and it's got to be the best we have been to in years. You just left to enjoy the atmosphere"

"This is a place we usually come for special occasions. I do like the feel, of this place. It has a really country pub feel to it. I always have the lamb shank. I promise you, you won't find a better lamb shank. The steaks however, are very hit and miss. Mainly for us a miss, there always tough or chewey. Other wise I'd of rated this place a 5 star. I recommend the chocolate fudge cake, really nice warmed."

"I'll start by saying we went last week and it was nice.....but tonight was a complete disaster! We waited over an hour for our starters after being told twice that they were being plated up. When we finally got them they (garlic mushrooms and chicken...wings) had clearly just been thrown in to a deep fat fryer and slapped on a plate. Both starters were massively over cooked and dry. We had finished these and within seconds the Mains appeared and once again all I got was a mouth full of cooking oil! The chips had obviously been fried twice and the burgers had clearly been thrown in with them. I got an extra glass of flat Pepsi as a way of an apology, but no one even bothered to ask about the food after it was finally dished up (I think they probably knew that my 9 year old could have done better)."

"First time here, Lovely evening to celebrate a 60th birthday. All staff are friendly, especially server Ella had a huge smile on her face. Lovely and chatty too and very polite when bringing food. Judy the bartender went above and beyond to bring the cake out for us. Drinks were spot on, had a cheeky few myself would say definitely good value for money. Only slight hiccup is that bathroom seem a tad unclean or not check as regularly. But other than that still 5 Thanks so much for a wondering afternoon. Definitely recommend and will be returning."

"Could not contact the Vine by phone tried most of the day, online only. Eventually after several tries awaiting email confirmation) we booked online when we arrived at the Vine, the phone was ringing and no one was answering, not enough staff. We ordered four meals, one was wrong and had to wait another 20 mins before they delivered the correct meal. Service was ok. We would not bother visiting the Vine again, also £100 for four people three adults and one teenage boy, we thought is was expensive for a pub. Only two adults ordered alcohol. Over all we all agreed it was poor."
