"General We wanted to return to some more beautiful food and decided to take a look at our voucher booklet for Mill Island in Kenzingen. The somewhat more approach has paid off in any case. Operation A very nice waiter has greeted us, and if after a short time it turned out that he and my friend have already worked in the same company, there was a small conversation extra. Luckily we had reserved, otherwise we probably wouldn't have a place anymore. A reservation is therefore always recommended in any case. What is very positive during operation: He immediately informed the menu what is currently available. We find that very good. Because it's always stupid if you aren't directly referring to it and then look for such a court. The menu had a good size and offered many different. Unfortunately there was no more Rumpsteak during our visit, otherwise at least one of us would have chosen this next time. On the way we had a tomato soup of 3,60 EUR, which we shared. That was all right. Not super delicious, but not bad. She was good and fortunately not too big, because she should be just an appetizer and not completely satisfy us. Baguette was offered to us. We are always happy when there is bread, that is unfortunately still not usual in all restaurants. After that my friend had a steak from the pork fillet with fries and herbal butter at 18,90 EUR and I had 3 medallions from the pork fillet with mushroom sauce and late zle. My food would cost 17,80 EUR, but was free due to our voucher. There is definitely no difference here whether the food is ordered with or without a voucher. And the portions are very pleasant. She was too big for me. The meat was nicely tender and not completely fried dead. It might have been a little pink, but it was so good. The Spätzle and the sauce were very delicious. The Pommes were normal as you get them almost everywhere. The price for the food is in the upper price range, but fits into the pleasant atmosphere and is also absolutely worth the food. "Wir sind öfters (wie jetzt gerade auch) hier essen und haben mittlerweile sogar unseren Stammplatz. ;-) Es schmeckt immer sehr gut, die Besitzer sind total nett und die Terasse ist auch super schön in der Abendsonne :-) die Tagesempfehlungen außerhalb der Karte sind ebenfalls lohnenswert!Wir können es absolut empfehlen (was wir auch schon mehrfach getan haben).
