"Lovely staff provided a very nice dinner experience on a beautiful outdoor terrace. Couvert was very tasty, excellent homemade chicken pate, terrific goat cheese salad starter, excellent duck breast main served with a port wine reduction sauce. Chocolate volcano for dessert with house made, rich and wonderful chocolate sauce. Very good wine suggested by owner. Would recomend"

"We ate in many Portuguese restaurants and we are used to their “no frills” approach. They serve basic fare, such as grilled meat, french fries and fish, the main difference among many of the same kind being service and cleanliness. This restaurant was recommended by...friends, it’s definitely outside main tourist routes and it serves the usual basic fare with relative flair. We went for a Sunday lunch and we were a large group, but the whole service was relatively fast and the food good. We drank white house wine, which was definitely above average. The choice of dessert was limited, but I enjoyed my caramel mousse. Muscadel and medronho were served after lunch and much enjoyed. The place looked clean and was surprisingly crowded, even for a Sunday lunch. Price/quality is definitely worth a try if you are in the area."
