"Nun waren wir hier zum zweiten Mal und unser positives Urteil hat sich bestätigt.Die Speisekarte hat so manche raffinierte Gerichte zu bieten. Dieses Mal war es dasSmørrebrød mit Hering, das ein hervorragender Appetizer war. Die Hauptgerichte waren Kotelette vom Duroc Schwein, das sehr schmackhaft, aber ein wenig zu gut durch war. Dagegen war die geschmorte Lammhaxe mit Blattspinat und cremiger Salbeipolenta rundum ein Genuss...sehr zart mit einer rundum gelungenen Sauce.Der Vollständigkeit halber muss man noch den gebratenen Seeteufel erwähnen, der gut abgeschmeckt, aber zu trocken war. Was aber in diesem Haus 5 Sterne verdient, ist die Präsentation von offenen Weinen. Es werden am Tisch 3 bis 4 Weine präsentiert, die man einzeln probieren kann, um sich dann für den richtigen zu entscheiden. Das ist Service pur - und auch kurzweilig, weil die Weine mit Erklärungen zu Herkunft und Geschmacksrichtung gereicht werden."

"We were very happy. on the way to pulheim we called and reserved. they never know exactly whether they get a place in these times. When we arrived, we were asked if we were calling and got a nice place. it was a little fresh in the guest room, but they felt good because it was not sticky. I personally find a well-ventilated space more important. the lunch was rumpsteak with green beans, a delicious pfeffer cream sauce and pommes. the meat was very delicious and boiled to the point. everything else very tasty. the price was very moderate. we felt very comfortable! thank you."

"Die Bewertung sollte lauten "Premium Durchschnitt" , sorry für "sehr gut" reicht es leider nicht. Trotzdem, das IGUANA ist empfehlenswert für junge Leute die auf spanisch, mexikanische Küche stehen. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, aufmerksames Personal und einfach nette Kneippe zum Quatschen."
