"I love my Indian takeaway, but it must be quality. After I moved to Ashgrove 4 years ago, I have been regularly moved by Sitar Express. The food is..."

"The butter chicken had a great flavor profile, very close to the real deal back home, but not quite there. Better than 90% of the butter chickens I have had so far in Brissy. The roti (bread) was fantastic, just like back in India. I ordered at 7pm, got the delivery in 40min. Good timing as well."

"Dry chicken in the Butter Chicken, it also didn't really taste like butter chicken. Naan was overcooked as well. Just all in all not worth the money."

"I had dinner in the paddington curry house last week. It was very good and simply awesome food, the taste and the flavour of the food was great. And the service was fantastic, I would definitely recommend my friends and others too, who love the Indian, Nepalese and other mixed cuisine. <br> HARRY"

"Tibetan cuisine is a little mixed bag. Service is pretty bad and can be pretty slow. If you are planning to see a show next door at Brisbane Arts Theatre, make sure to order from the fast menu (and still allow extra time) as other items operate for a while. Otherwise the food was good. For entrees we really enjoyed aloo chop potato patties, but found the vegetarian momo quite average, although she served lukewarm that made a difference. The Vegetarian Kofta was a rash, a hearty and warming dish full of taste perfect for the cooler months. And if you are a coriander hater, it can be done without. Bathrooms are down a steep row of stairs, make sure to keep an eye on this when you need mobility."

"Ordered delivery of fish, chips, crumbed sausage and burger. It was 30min late but worth the wait. Best fish and chips I have found in Brisbane. Kids loved it too. Can't wait to try some curries!"

"Drove to Woolloongabba with my wife on Wednesday 3rd May 2017 for lunch at this restaurant. We ordered Amritsari fish pieces for entrée, a chicken biryani lunch special and a lamb kadai with rice lunch deal. For drinks we opted for mango lassi and masala lemonade. The wait was unusually long, and we noticed that the air-conditioner was not switched on and the place was getting somewhat warm. Little did we realise that a sign stuck on the door outside stated that they were only doing take-aways that day. Thankfully, the manager, Chanpreet, had been kind enough to make an exception for us. Apparently, they were short-staffed that day as one of their regular workers was away ill.The meals were well presented. The platter of Amritsari fish pieces coated with orange spicy chickpea batter was served hot with a salad and a mint & tamarind dip. It was a tasty appetiser. We had opted for ‘hot spiciness’ for our main dishes. The lamb kadai was excellent, very spicy and delicious. It was served in a small balti bucket nestled on plate containing white basmati rice and salad. The chicken biryani was spicy and hot and the chicken pieces were tender and well-marinated. The biryani was served in a dainty handi. The accompaniment was a small bowl of raita.Overall, it was a pleasant lunch and well worth the wait. The servings were adequately sumptuous. The restaurant itself is rudimentary and unpretentious and the Indian decor simple. They seem to have a regular clientele for take-away lunches."

"Best Indian I have found in brissy. And I come from living in London where you get the best Indian outside of mom's kitchen."
