"The restaurant is small, seat approx. 40 people, with distinctive decoration, but eating is fabulous! we have ordered sweets and cholesterol features. the samosas and the broth were both perfectly fried cocks, hot, without fat. the chole was beautifully seasoned, with a complex and balanced mix of seasoned and this perfect spicy followed by the other dishes we ordered: huhn korma, aloo gobi and a black lentil dal. we had a side of the sweet mango chutney that was not too sweet; excellent tamarinde, tomaten and minze chutneys were also provided for the table, along with pappadam. the restaurant does not have an alcohol license, but they can byob; there is a boddega, a rod food business, a block away, and a wine and spiritual business opposite a rod’s. our server, a young woman, was inexperienced and had problems with English, but this is not a place they go for the British service they go for the perfectly seasoned and cooked kitchen. If you like Indian food, go! they are hard pressed to find better, and they will be happy at the price."
