"This is a fabulous Indian take away restaurant. No place to sit (so go next door to the Wink and get a beer while you wait). Order exactly what the owner says to order. He will ask you what you like, what you don't, what...you might be allergic to, what level of spicy ness you like, how hungry you are... Then he will make you something he is proud of. We've gone 4 times now, had something a little different each time expect the Hakka/Schezwan fusion noodle, we all love it! My wife is a vegetarian of sorts and is allergic to sea food she asks him every time and he patiently answers every time. The vindaloo is amazing, the chicken curry is the best I've had, the lamb khadi was a treat but the best thing on the menu is the naan bread we never order enough!"

"We were in Calgary for the weekend and visited the restaurant as per a co-worker's recommendation. Service was amazing, everyone was so nice. The food tasted incredible. We both loved everything we tried. Highly recommend trying Raj Palace, you'll definitely go back for more."

"I though I would try this restaurant since it had some good reviews and was close to where I lived. I ordered pretty standard dish for Indian- butter chicken with an order of rice and naan. I could tell the chicken wasn’t fresh. It was...actually the chicken they use for their tandoori chicken with just a bunch of butter chicken thrown on top. Also the chicken was very dry. The rice was also undercooked and crunchy. The naan itself was overcooked and crispy and brown. You could taste that it was burnt. I thought this was just a bad night so I tried them on a separate occasion. Same result with the food. Not sure how they got such good reviews. Don’t waste your money."

"I am a Skip The Dishes delivery driver and had picked up food from the Green Chili a number of times, and the food smelled delicious. Today our family visited as a customer and could not be happier! The flavour of the food, the quality...of the food, and the service from the staff (owners) was outstanding. I highly recommend the Green Chili, it is a great place for lunches or dinner. We will be back!"

"We went to the restaurant after hearing rave reviews about their Chana Bhatura and checking the website to make sure it was on the menu.Got seated quickly and the restaurant was moderately crowded.When we ordered Channa Bhatura, her response was that some items are only served in the morning even though the menu made no mention of it. She did not even try to check if the kitchen would make them as we had just traveled half hour for this.Only one word comes to mind.....DISAPPOINTING!!!You're better off trying Royal Paan in the North East if you want good Indian food"
