"Ride your bike or skateboard to St.Kilda beach, stop in here for brunch, I ordered bacon and eggs on toast, it was quick and hot with lots of bacon, kids had chips, quick meal and back in the skateboards and off down the esplanade!!!"

"OMGosh this is THE place for vodka with approx 230 different varieties. I really like European food so thanks to Jojo Armani and her partner for recommending this restaurant. <br/ <br/ As a Polish restaurant the decor and the food appeared to be quite authentic. And the food was great, although quite rich for me. I was fine until I stood up and realised how much I’d eaten till I stood up! I ate too much unfortunately which is why this review is so long.<br/ <br/ The service from the lovely waitress was excellent, she definitely knew her vodkas and she kept us entertained during the night. <br/ <br/ Here are some of the dishes that we had. Stuffed cabbage leaves w veal, which were big and meaty. Definitely a mouthful but tasty. <br/ <br/ The BBQ pork belly was amazing, really soft, juicy and cooked so well... Yummo! <br/ <br/ The potato pancakes w salmon, dill and sour cream were good but a little dry and heavy for me. <br/ <br/ The polish dumplings were really good, but a little dry to me and a little light on the filling which was beef and chicken, bacon and sherry. <br/ <br/ For mains we got sticky BBQ beef ribs and these were soo tasty... the meat was tender, the sauce delicious, just what I’d hoped for. <br/ <br/ We had a Russian salad w potato, peas, parsnips apple, picked cucumbers. This was really good too.<br/ <br/ And finally, we got the Hunters Platter which had pork sausage, a frankfurt, a grilling sausage, a veal sausage, black pudding, sauerkraut, mustard etc etc hahaha ... it was BIG!! <br/ <br/ I couldn’t get enough of the sourdough bread, it was soft, with an amazingly crunchy crust and served w real butter!! OMGosh Yummo!!<br/ <br/ Jojo Armani"

"My husband enjoyed our meals at this restaurant - we ordered a garlic focaccia for starter and then my husband has pizza for main and I risotto. We both enjoyed our meals and didn't have enough room left for dessert. Including a drink each the bill came to just under $70. Good range of Italian food to choose from. Our waitress provided excellent and friendly service."

"We visited the silvester for dinner, as I always notice how busy this restaurant will be, it seems really popular among the locals. we have one of the banquets and were impressed by the amount of food we have served. the brot, chips, auberginen, salat and saganaki came out quickly. I was glad that they slowed down a bit and that meat or seafood didn't bring too fast, as it felt pretty glacial. high points of the meal for me were the saganaki and the aubergine, they were delicious. the chips were not needed and were not good, either the brot was enough. the calamari was under seasoned, but nice enough and the meat plate was very delicious. we also didn't get a coffee that was a part of...read more"

"Lucky Coq is an establishment, for sure. <br/ Had the $4 pizzas here a few times, and they never dissapoint although the corn chip one (I forget its name) is a bit dry. <br/ <br/ Drinks are reasonably priced too, which is always nice. And the chairs are so comfy! <br/ So. Comfy."
