"Honestly, I'm super disappointed. I have a reservation for 8 at 4:45 on a Saturday months in advance. When we arrived, the restaurant was practically empty. It took 15 minutes to get our drinks and another 25 for the drinks. The food came extremely scattered and one of our friends did not receive their food until 30 minutes after all the others had received their food. In addition, the bill was grounded (have additional items that we do not order) and the service was extremely slow. In addition, the manager does not care at all. Very frustrating experience."

"I did both takeout and dine in before. I suggest best eaten when freshly made. So the texture of the noodle and the broth blends in well. Once takeout, the noodles tends to be clumped together and wouldn’t be as tasty as dine in, the pork is great, melts in your mouth with charred taste. Really love the pork. The agedashi tofu is good too as compared to traditional style. Would patronized again."

"This restaurant is a pig wearing lipstick. The first red flag should’ve been the excessive use of truffle all throughout the menu. I guess this is an attempt to cover up mediocre sushi with an expensive ingredient. One of the rolls that had apple, and it ever just so slightly tasted as if the apple had been sitting on a wet towel. You know that muggy, humid taste that reminds you of sweat in a locker room? Never in my life have I had multiple cuts of sushi where the connective facia called the silver skin wasn’t removed. I had to spit it out on three different occasions. The first time I took a giant, horrible bite of silver skin happened when I was eating a roll, and I informed the waitress. I don’t understand how it happened again with not one but the two pieces of nigiri that followed next. Each time I made sure to spit out the facia on the plate so that the kitchen could see it. I have never had this happen even at the cheapest of the cheapest sushi restaurants. When the waitress came to ask if we wanted anything else to order I told her absolutely not. She was very apologetic, very kind, and spoke to her manager about refunding the nigiri. I will admit they gave us a huge discount, but even with the discount I will never come back. With the prices that they’re charging here they should be comparable to Uroko, Uchi, Uchiko, Neighborhood Sushi, and Sushi|Bar but they are not even bringing half the talent or quality."
