"Not liked. we travel every year of victoria to eat here and spend a weekend in canberra. Since iori has been opened, we are here. everything is delicious and beautifully presented. the chef is our favorite, an expert for the art of Japanese cuisine. we love this place."

"Great food in Lonsdale! The fish is fresh and good, best sashimi I have found in Canberra (after searching for more than a year). Tried the tacoyaki (battered octopus), the wasabi marinated octopus, mixed sushi, mixed sashimi and they were all great! And do yourself a favor and try the oysters: they have a great balance between sauce/seasoning and flavor. Last time I went they had also sake in promotion which is pretty nice for a hot summer afternoon, chilled and not very sweet. However, would recommend a menu that lets know all the great flavors that you can taste in each dish! It is real and good quality food. Have and will come back again"

"My first time to a Hog's Breath Cafe. Went to the Civic restaurant in Canberra on One word, DISAPPOINTED and ANGRY. My friend and I sat down at approximately we ordered around we both ordered a medium rare premium steak with chips and salad. After waiting for minutes, our meal still hadn't arrived. We saw other customers at a table of who came after us, got their meal before us. We then had to ask the waitress to check how much longer our meal was going to be ready because it felt like she forgot to put the order in. She came back minutes later telling us it will be another minutes. Finally at approximately an entire minutes later, our dishes arrived and you can see by the photo it was definitely not worth the wait at all. Comparing my photo to other photos, I probably got half the serve of chips on my plate, so disappointed for such a LONG wait. Let's just say I won't be back."

"We have always enjoyed both lunch, where the lunch boxes are very tasty and good value, and dinner where the a la carte menu is terrific. Today we had the tempura udon soup and the chicken Katsu lunch boxes and both were great. The udon soup is a winter special and it was great. Highly recommend it.We love this restaurant and think that the lunch boxes are very good value."

"I first visited Caphs 14 years ago, and visited there quite regularly since then. I moved interstate about 4 months ago and was very excited about going back on a recent visit to Canberra. They were busy on the night I returned and the waitress told me, pick a table outside and she would be out with menus. Found. Table with my husband and son, waited 15 minutes (I had somewhere to be at a specific time) and approached the staff and requested menus, someone brought out water and asked if we would like to order? No, we still did not have menus, waited another 15 mins and then menus came out, I advised of my time frame and no food would not be prepared in time. Had I been served or received menus when I first arrived (by this time 30 mins prior) I could have had my meal and made my engagement. I spoke to the manager who advised me “not my problem, we were busy”. I agree they were busy, but I do not expect to chase down wait staff who told me to sit outside for 30 mins and then be told it was my own fault that meals would not be prepared on time because they did nothing bout taking my order in a reasonable amount of time. I had arrived at the restaurant with time to order and eat."
