"I casually found this place on google, was not highlighted by TripAdvisor. Is a nice place just a bit out of the center of Innsbruck, a very typical Austrian restaurant.We (me and my colleague) went there for lunch and we took as starters two pig plate of local speck and cheese and then the main dishes, wiener schnitzel, pork medallion with mushrooms and vegetables (really superlative) and others plates that I can't remember with some beers. By the way, the quality of the food was really good and we spent around 108euros !"

"We find in general, quite tricky to find good sushi/asia throughout Austria but here at Kai is what comes after outstanding food! Our dinner started with a warm refreshing towel. The wide ranging menu was presented in German, Japanease and English; starters, sushi, kaiseki, soup, salad, inside/outside rolls, sashimi, main courses, noodles and dessert. Really something for everyone. Prices were on the high side but the quality of food represented this well. At this point, I would like to add that service was carried out by students who weren’t very engaging or proactive but they did the job just fine. The place was packed on a Friday night. Reservations are highly recommended but food can be taken out. The sashimi was the best we have eaten in Europe. The tempura soup was just packed full of flavour. The rice in the sushi was just melt in your mouth and fish used was super fresh. The tuna. Oh. My. Word! To finish, highly recommended, we cannot wait to be back. Tips: reservations are a must, sashimi with the caviar is truly outstanding."
