"Izakaya Ju, one of the handful of restaurants in J-Town, has been around for some time. My husband and I went for a date night many years ago, but hadn't returned until today.The lunch menu is much more limited compared to dinner, but there is a decent variety. We had the ramen, ja-ja men, and black cod, and all were simple but done well.We didn't order any sashimi, but it seemed a bit on the pricier side for lunchtime (a simple sashimi set was just over $40). With current food prices everywhere, though, it wasn't surprising either.Service was friendly and attentive, and the space is larger than I remembered, with ample seating when we went at lunchtime."

"Sushi was very fresh, flavourful, perfect size, and did not fall apart. Price is reasonable for the quality. It is more of a takeout place. Even though there are tables you can sit at there isn't really any service. I wish that they would have reusable plates/utensils for dine-in, would make the experience nicer and more environmentally conscious. I will be back but maybe bring my own mug."

"If you love sushi or sashimi, than this is a great spot but it is a little more expensive than other AYCE for lunch ($24.95), but well worth it. You also have all the other food items tempura, grilled items, soup, salad, etc. Accesible, part of a small plaza, so there is plenty of parking ."

"The employees had extremely rude attitude! We placed order for 7pm the day before. When we got there at 7pm, they rudely told us "no time you just wait, I don 't care, too much orders "Not only did they not apologize, they gave attitude and truly did not care about their customers.Terrible experience! Would never return. 0 out 10 recommend.Horrible customer service.Horrendous."

"Generous sized portions that are well packed, and fresh. We really enjoyed the tempura that freshness of sushi that came with dinner bento box combos DB1. Sushi, Sashimi, tempura and DB3. Chicken Teriyaki, Sushi, Tempura. We also liked N4. Chicken Katsu Udon and DE9. Pork Cutlet"
