"This is the place to go to try sake/nihonshu, no matter what your level of familiarity with sake. Kako-san took the time to explain what sake is and what to look out for. He even demonstrated with charts for some basic education at the table! He was very friendly and hospitable. Highly recommend to check this place out if you're interested in sake. The food is also amazing as well."

The drinks are top-notch for everyday use. In addition to drinks, the chef's special dry curry is also excellent. The restaurant has a very gentle view of the world, and when you top your meal with stories of the world the chef has traveled, you will feel like you are traveling not in Yokohama but on a cruise ship somewhere."

He speaks fluent English and has made us great recommendations to try things in the area and for our current trip. For those who have a visit in the eye, it is in the basement and you need to look for a small sign at the door. Recommend a visit to this quirky place."
