"So on this day my dad and his girlfriend picked me up for a early dinner. The other Thai restaurant a few blocks down was closed so we decided to check out Orchids. I am pleased to announce that we made a wonderful and delicious choice. The atmosphere inside Orchids was clean and very spacious. Staff was kind and welcoming. There was only a couple of other tables with diners and we were seated in a nice cozy corner table right near the kitchen. It was past 3pm when the lunch special ends but the staff was kind enough to let us choose from the lunch menu nonetheless. We began with some refreshing ice cold water as we went through the menu to select our items. We ordered A green sesame ginger salad that was bursting with fresh delicious flavors and not overpowering at all. I even used the dressing to pour over my jasmine rice which had some hints of lemongrass and cilantro that added so nicely to the rice. We followed up with a order of the Tom Kha coconut soup with chicken. Very fresh and delicious flavors. For our main entree we ordered the hot chili green beans dish with chicken. It had lemongrass, young bell peppers bell peppers, bamboo shoots, and lemongrass. Everything went so well with each other and we had a very pleasant dining experience. The Thai Ice Tea was also on point. Orchids Thai restaurant is definitely a place i will be dining at again with friends family and even a date.
