"This was my first visit to this restaurant. I took 3 friends and we booked the 3 course menu which included a glass of champagne. The venue is beautiful and the pianist played lovely music. On arrival though, we were left too long at our table despite it not being very busy. No one offered to take our coats so I had to find someone myself. Our waitress was unfriendly and it felt like she didn't want to be there. The slot for the table is 2 hours and we had been given our starter and main very close to each other. We had 50 minutes left so I asked her to allow us a break before dessert. She said I need to tell the Manager as your desserts have already been ordered. I explained that we had plenty of time still and felt rushed unnecessarily. The starter and main was really good but the chocolate fondent was over cooked. The middle was dry and had no soft gooey chocolate centre. For the cost of the meal, I had hoped for a much better service.so sadly we will not be returning. Two male waiters were lovely when we asked for water and helpful with photos. Shame they weren't our waiters for the food."
