"The food was excellent and the service was average. They have menus in The local language and in English. The setting is in an older building with many good views. I would have rated our experience at 4 but the temperature in the restaurant was at least in the high 80s at 7:30pm and it never got above 74 the whole day and was also cloud covered. We probably should have left before we sat down and left as quickly as possible after the meal. There are definitely other options in the area."

"This is a classic pizzeria suitable for lovers of Italian cuisine. The food is very good but with service there may be problems if you do not speak German. Not all the staff understands English.Of the drinks I highly recommend dry white Swiss wines. They are great for all the dishes of this restaurant."

"Located in Wollishofen, take Tram #7 to Post and Renggergut is about a block away on a side street. I made an online reservation for lunch, which was pretty much confirmed immediately. I decided I would try their AYCE lunch buffet. Priced at 16CHF (24CHF with drinks which consists of choice of wine/prosecco, plus water and coffee/tea). Their spread offers soup, salad, noodles, cold salads, several appetizers, bread, while the main dishes consists of pork, noodles, fish, rice (stir fry, white), veggies and a carving station. The dessert bar has several items on the display line and don’t miss the excellent cakes above the displayed desserts.The lady and gentleman running the place keep a tight control over everything. The staff was courteous and efficient. The food was very good and the basic AYCE (16CHF) is one of the cheapest type deals in the city.The atmosphere is simple, yet relaxed. No Wi-Fi service offered. The facility offers basic seating at the front of the room. Those making reservations in advance get a bit more formal seating in the rear room with nicer table settings and not as close quarters as in the main, front room. There is also a very nice courtyard, garden seating in nice weather. The restrooms are clean.Suggest making reservations in advance for more personalized attention and spacious seating. I thanked my hosts upon departing for the very nice visit. Highly recommended!"

"The restaurant does not look nice at all. There was clearly an rustic Swiss German restaurant there before and they have done very little to change the original look, a few Asian decoration hanging on the wall, but nothing to create an authentic ambiance...in the restaurant. The food was only fair in quality and that is by being generous. The chef uses far too much Vinegar in the sauces. The only thing that I found nice about this restaurant was the nice and friendly service"
