"Had popadoms but with no sauce or onions etc, Samosas were cold in the middle so unsure how these were cooked and they came out within a minute (not fresh). Mains were watery, the gravy was not on par with other restaurants or any indian...curry we have eaten as we have been to india. Place was dead, we were the only customers and inside needs an upgrade. Not really a pleasant dining experience and not worth the money we spent."

"The Empire is a local institution. You need to book on Fri-Sun nights. The food is consistently of a good standard but the service is often with attitude and unhelpful, especially the kitchen staff who can be a bit rude. The drinks are very expensive but the ambience is lovely. I'd suggest giving it a go on Sunday nights - two for one meal deal."

"We've visited Clover a few times over the years and have seen it go from very good, to very bad. However after a long hiatus, decided to visit again and we were very glad we did. They've obviously gone through another change of owners since...we were last there and everything has improved, from the service (super efficient and friendly) to the food (excellent) and the coffee (ahhh, finally a decent brew). So we'll definitely be back!! And sooner than later this time."

"We have been twice now and both times have been very pleasant. Service is friendly and pizzas are great. It is upmarket pizza joint so it is pricey but food is good. Upstairs is very pleasant and nicely done. Background music is pleasant and you can actually have a conversation and hear what everyone on the table are saying. That's rarity today! Very happy that there is lovely place like this in our neighborhood. Dining experience not cafeteria!"
