"The food was good and the plum wine was AMAZING! The menu was really big, which can be a little overwhelming for me, but there were many good options and large menus are quite normal for sushi places. The atmosphere was welcoming, comfortable and casual. I know I didn't always look at the right Sushi Ess label, but there was no verdict or immutation. Just good times and good food. Prices were decent when considering that this is a very tourist city. I liked it there."

"Consistently good! On my most-recent trip, I had the shiitake chicken bowl. Everything was super-fresh and well-flavored. Other times, I've sampled Eggs Benedict, cocktails, and their cardamom latte (with dairy-free milk). I also love the fun, funky decor: It feels like hanging out at a fellow creative's home. Only downside this time was that service was a bit slower than usual, despite similar numbers of patrons."
