"Looking for a dinner near Bad Goisern and we tried one place and it was full. We then did a quick Google Search for restaurants nearby and found Steegwirt. Had a wonderful meal, staff were very friendly, spoke excellent english and our family of 5...had a well priced, very well prepared meal. We were very surprised as we didn't even check reviews. Wife and daughter shared a meal which surprised them as the hot meal was accompanied by ice cream the taste sensation was unusual and they both commented upon how well the tasted went together. Two Wiener Schnitels and Cordon Bleu were each very tasty and well prepared. A nice surprise to find a place like this close to our accommodation. Recently rennovated and lovely ambience."

"I choose this place especially because he said on all platforms that it was not pricy. Unfortunately, that was not true. thanks to covid they had a menu with some elements on the display. the waitress was very nice and offered 3 vegan options for me that were not displayed on the menu. the cover was not displayed on the menu and was not mentioned to us. 3.6€ is a little pricy for a cover. we have brot and two spreads (a vegan) for the table. eating was really good. but I couldn't choose a vegan starter, so I just had very excellent ravioli. for dessert was the only vegan option sorbet (it was outside cold, so I have no.) a really nice restaurant and up to the internet platforms the only restaurant that offers vegan options in bad goisern, so it is regrettable that it soo pricy. I paid almost 20€ for only my meal (without drinks and cover)"

"Sorry maar moet het kwijt. Wat een vreselijk restaurant. De kaiserschmarren van de kinderen zwartgeblakerd!! Een eenvoudige bauernsalat zeer matig en de prijs zoals in een toeristisch oord te verwachten.... aan de hoge kant.Niet nog een keer en geen aanrader!!"

"This place is 5 stars! Chargrilled trout the best I ever had! Enjoyed 2 nights in a row. Goulash soup is good. Duck very well. Apfulstrudel with vanilla sauce good to round your meal. Beer perfect! Service unbeatable."
