"Specialties are here: trout from own ponds, own metzgerei, hessian sausage specialties. we like to go out and go out to make a big dinner. everything else offered on the clear menu should be good of the sound, but also good. the dining room from a room and ant is simple and something is furnished in the years. the tables are covered with clean, reinforced tablecloths and additionally covered with paper runners and serviettes. it is a family business with metzgerei and they can see that. the friendly service does not allow them to wait long and takes up the drinks. the specificity of the house, namely the already mentioned forellen, can be ordered blue or müller with cream or roasted mandelbbles and kartoffels or as smoked filet. I prefer the fried variants. although the trout is freshly prepared, the waiting period is appropriate. the fish is delicate, juicy, discreetly aromatic. the massive golden yellow carrots with their pleasant taste matched excellent and the cream radish comes with the maintain sharp, which however does not cover the aroma of the fish. I would like to have a right salad set of green leaf salad or a small add salad as a predominant part of the farm, but also so it is always a solid one. If I don't forget it, I order another add salad. with 11 12 € it was randomly one of the cheaper main dishes that would otherwise be worth 1116 €. besides the time card where there is no fischerser on their cost, there are also seasonal offers of good bourgeois cuisine such as pfifferlings, wild, economical etc. Moreover, they can buy typical hessian sausages, such as stracke at place and place. next to the restaurant with approx. 35 seats are still available the very nicely furnished mill room with 60 seats and a club room with 20 places. that is not worth a luxurious hotel room, but is satisfied with a simply equipped, clean room with shower/WC and tw, will sleep very well on the edge of the forest. the hotel is located a bit from the b 324/ homberger road between bad hersfeld and the village allmershausen ca. 5 8 minutes by car from the bad heartfields city inside. parking is available in sufficient number. also residential properties are welcome. fresh water and electrical connections are available. I stroll between three and four stars and slender four stars, because the trout and the ahle are very good!"

"This restaurant is in a little old medieval building that is modernized inside with white banquettes along the walls and therefore makes a larger appearance than it is. We had an early supper there and I had the Jaegerschnitzel which is a pork cutlet with...mushroom sauce. It was a huge portion and comes accompanied by applesauce and fries. The only vegetable available was a a zucchini medley and I had that instead of the ubiquitous fries. A salad was also included. Otherwise vegetables are not in demand.......We also tried some potato latkes as an accompaniment and they were very good. Food was generally greasy but good. They apparently specialize in steaks beef but since I can get them better in the USA I didn't try any. It is old fashioned German cookery. They also have lots of different typesbrands of beers"
