"I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience a charming example of excellent local Fränkisch food. I had the Pfefferhaxe, the meat was tender and juicy and the crackling done to perfection! I will be going back again. Great service even though the place was packed, and really fair prices. Can't recommend enough."

"We visited our former Franconian home again. on the last day of our stay we visited this locally with 12 people. to bring it forward for us, it will probably be the last time they visit. the local has been completely renovated years ago, the facility is loaded, everything clean and almost something noble. but that was with the plus points. the service was friendly, but little attentive. for a drink haste or to order a dessert, we had to ask the service that was performed by 2 young men to ask for kalamarie and oktopus (I actually wanted to know how the preparation is I to answer: oktopus is oktopus and kalamarie is kalamarie. ! I still ordered oktopuss grilled for 8.90€. I have 4 pieces a bit thicker than a raw completely tasteless and hard as rubber. it almost remained on the plate. the time or in between, no demand is required, whether everything is in order. even if I paid that I would be an appetizer 4 pieces rubber had no reaction. it should be mentioned that only local visits were made. as a main dish we had still grilled bark leber for 10,30 € gyros special (with metaxas sauce and cheese for 12,80 € baked and pork fillet special (with metaxas sauce and cheese for 14,80 € baked the lever was thin but nevertheless tender and juicy. but also here as well as on the rice very tasteless. the gyroscope and the black fillet was good to express after my wife and daughter. as dessert we had galaktobureko with ice for 4,50 €, which was very good again. from the rest of the family I got the info, meat was good not dry or hard, but also too little to not seasoned. the drinks are for bad personalelstein in the frame. cola 0.40 l 2.70 € cup coffee 2.10 € it will take some time again until we come back to france to see if another visit here is far in the stars."

"In the 250-soul old village there are two very good gas stations, both family-run, which are located below a beautifully wounded church and lie directly opposite. one of them is the gas house. in the past even brewed. that is already a while ago. Today is the beer of kloster weltenburg. there is also a constantly changing beer from a regional brewery. the guest house, which has an dining room with an estimated 40 seats and an approximately equal size next to the room, but is open only for certain occasions, has about 25 additional seats on the terrace in summer. in the backyard there is a small parking space, in front of the terrace a few more parking spaces. the bouquet is well filled at the usual eating times, i.e. 12 o'clock on the afternoon and 18 o'clock or 19 o'clock in the evening. therefore it would be advisable to reserve in advance. my favorite and also the stem of my family and so we go all two months to eat there. I guess I've already eaten some dozens of paints. service are all very friendly, attentive and fleeting. to bring the menu and take the drinks and never have to wait long. I can't remember waiting for my drink or eating for a long time. Special requests are not a problem either. eating in the bouquet is simply a dream. I've never eaten anything that didn't taste me more than good. everything is prepared as far as possible and freshly prepared. the quality of the ingredients is high quality, and the gas also notices. the menu is not very extensive, but this is not a problem because it should be possible to find something for everyone. on the menu you will find one, two books and steaks, besides classics like schnitzel, cordon bleu and currywurst. I usually eat carving like a pommes or bratkartoffeln. there's a little salad. all this is for 8,50 euro and the amount is more than lush. I'm the one who thinks there's nowhere else so tasty carving. the carving (it is two pieces) are always hot, the panade is crispy, the meat is wonderfully tender and juicy. and everything is very well seasoned and costed. the pommes are also perfect. the bratkartoffels are nicely cut thick, soft, slightly tanned and refined with spectra. but, as I said, everything tastes very delicious in the pension. also from friends and well known I hear only well about the taste and quality of eating. everyone should be convinced. I can also put the cordon blue and the steaks in the heart. the food is all cheap and the portions are large. the environment of the interiors are original, simply typical Franconian. much dark wood and beige lampshades that make the light dimming and thus the locally shameful look. but it fits well with this local. on the terrace you have a beautiful view of the village church. the location is quiet. cleanliness the cleanliness in the rooms and the toilets was never responsible."

"After eating so well, the service was in contact with the customer, we tried again. the localities are still unchanged, why should they rebuild something big? this time we visited this locally shortly after the opening at 11.00 a.m., but some tables were already occupied. the cut of the customers in the course of the day outside the hiking season: 65 . although we are clearly younger, we enjoy the accompanying atmosphere and the position of the table with the user . it is here, in contrast to the Franconian customs, usual not only to occupy the tables with regard to the families, here is mixed. who comes, searches and fits to a place that is placed. works great. the noise level is very pleasant, the room wonderfully tempered (we had 9° c on 20.03.2018 and snowfall, the services are much more relaxed than our last visit. I go. we ordered: 2 yeasts alcohol-free from our own brewery 1 mineral water 0.5 liter, still 1 black brot from the tube, with potato crust and vegetable 1 unpaned putenschnitzel with homemade potato salad and added salad, untreated. 1 ice cups with egg drinks from the beer section are as always a pleasure. the customer has the choice before place, and after visiting the restaurant can also be selected in the attached sale from the whole series of the beer and the alcohol-free drinks. not cheap, but quality. the cute carving of my guide, who unfortunately does not like it when they photograph her or her food, came first. very tasty looking, a wonderful browning even without panting, plus a beautifully dressed kartoffel salad after Franconian art (but without spek cubes, as I could see, a small extra salad that was marretteined with a vinai. the accompaniment was too acidic, perfect for me, but I love bitter and sour. in the harbour I was allowed to take my dick at the reception. served on a beautiful stone dish expected me for 8,90 € a really huge portion meat. more than I expected. to these two normal large potato claws, which looked small in comparison to the meat. was not visual. so. now a clear word for those who think that a blackbread would be the same everywhere and you just have to push it in the many. dear chefs, hobby chefs, dear ugly here they get a parade piece of meat processing. grow through, with a crispy crust and taste to frit. how often is this black frying outside sharp, almost already overwürzted to taste two centimeters further inside after nothing. in this restaurant is the own taste of the pork well underlined, almost already raised. for me, unfortunately, as a sauce lover, a little too spicy dark beersauce. Yes, they can postorder, but I wasn't sure if I could even dispose of it in portions. I was in the position; knock with crumbs, nicely firm in the resistance and make what they actually absorb sauce. the excellently decorated, a little of the root vegetables also finds the way to the dish. taste far from the industry. That's always something. I just like to be in quasi homeopathic doses because mine on this herb covers the aroma of the beans. so also here, my guide found this food component very successful. so bush beans were served in a bound, slightly sweet sauce. very, very tired I was almost happy after this part. the companion has become a dessert: nus becher with eierlikör. eroded until the last drop, it apparently cost.
