"Book online for the Wednesday afternoon tour. it cost a little more, but we were run by cold for two hours. she was very knowledgeable and told us the history of gaol and many interesting things. we were in a position to continue walking as long as we wanted. we had a few drinks in the gouverneurs hall that was the Chapel. the personal was very friendly and polite and the gift shop sold items for every budget. all in all we stayed there for about four and a half hours, as it was such a pleasant experience! we had the feeling that it was an excellent value for money and would definitely recommend the tour."

"Beautiful evening! the personal was fab! I only booked for 2 plus a high chair and then rode into my sister in law, her partner and child. they were more than happy to dinate with us, although they were not booked. drinks seem on the expensive side, but eating is reasonable"

"I loved the cauliflower and aubergine curry yesterday complete with linseedahl, flatbread and rice. I am just so grateful that I can order a curry that does not contain cocos or cocos milk. the taste was delicious. we are rarely disappointed by the food. I also know that we can order an alternative chips if they are on the menu with a dish. I can also recommend the toad in the hole. Sunday dinners are good, but not surprisingly it is busy at the weekend."
