"We recently dined here weeks in a row and this restaurant is consistently serving up wonderful Italian meals with even more wonderful service. The staff are second to none for friendliness, assistance and service to the table with the great array of food that...comes from its kitchen. We can definitely recommend the veal and the pork belly dishes, and their seafood pasta. The bruschetta is also delicious. Wine by the glass or bottle (we really enjoyed the Sangiovese) at very reasonable prices."

"We are locals and have visited here dozens of times but no more. The fillings are getting embarrassing. We have also eaten at many other Guzman Y Gomez chains and this is the worst. We recently bought exactly what we usually get from the surfers paradise store and it highlighted how bad Kawana has gotten. The fillings were almost twice as large at the surfers store. At Kawana, the burritos are mainly filled with rice, there is hardly any filling or guacamole on the nachos and our food often comes out cold. I know the chain gets busy, but if you don’t look after the people who visit you the most, one day you will get caught out as like they will just go elsewhere. We are definitely voting with our feet and won’t be back to Kawana."

"I eat here often. Love the food, love the staff. They are always friendly and accommodating. My daughter can be fussy at times and they always allow for that. I love their point system; and the location is so convenient for school and groceries!!"
