"My other coffee shop favorite in Caen. Special mention for homemade cheesecake with caramel appetizer, my favorite cheesecake (in the whole world). The coffees are very good (I am very happy to leave on a oat milk latte). Very friendly and welcoming team. Local and seasonal lunch with excellent value for money. Well located in the heart of Caen."

"I had lunch here on Saturday 29th November 2014, with my 9 year old son (who is not vegan/vegetarian), and my eldest daughter who is vegetarian and slowly becoming vegan. I am vegan and both myself and my daughter find it very difficult to eat out because there are very few places that serve vegetarian food (omelette or salads are the usual choices) and I have yet to find a vegan choice on a menu. So to be able to eat at this adorable little restaurant and have both choices made available to us was terrific. It is a really quaint little establishment, tucked away down an olde worlde alley in centre ville. The decor is retro and my son was intrigued by the posters and various old toys on display. I loved the shabby chic tables, chairs and benches and the whole place exudes charm, warmth and friendliness. The staff were so helpful and always smiling, they spoke English and French, and the service was impeccable. Jess and I had the most delicious vegan curry with a glass of Bio red wine, followed by vegan cheesecake to die for! Jacques had a toasted cheese sandwich, which was not on the menu, but they did if for him especially because he is a fussy eater, and a big glass of Bio apple juice. Jacques especially loved the big wooden fork we were handed that had Good Karma written on it....this was used to go up to the counter to make our orders and for when I paid the bill. Just these lovely little touches went a long way to making it an extra special treat for us. The meal was very reasonably priced and I cannot praise this establishment highly enough. They are part of a small chain, family owned and run, and the next time I am in Caen I will be eating at Dolly's Restaurant and Pancake Night Fever as well, so look out for more reviews from me about these restaurants. Absolutely fabulous....anyone who likes delicious, healthy and ethical eating should most certainly dine here!"

"Nous avons testé le bobun pour la 1ère fois d'après les avis précédents pour tester et nous pouvons dire que c'est tout simplement du foutage de gueule!BOBUN (à emporter): QUE des feuilles de salade, 8 morceaux de viande, 3 pousses de soja et quelques vermicelles cachés sous la salade!!! bref, ça fait cher la salade soit 7 euros!!! La photo valait le coup tellement le bobun était pitoyable dans sa barquette!!!!Le patron est agréable mais n'a pas honte de servir un bobun pareil!! on s'est bien fait avoir!!!Première et dernière visiteNOUS DECONSEILLONS FORTEMENT+++++++ Allez chez Sasesu rue saint jean, vous découvrirez le vrai bobun"

"Excellent restaurant de sushis, sur place et à emporter. L'accueil est extrêmement sympathique, et tout est fait devant vous avec des produits frais et de grande qualité. Pour ceux qui prennent à emporter, un apéritif vous est souvent offert le temps de l'attente ; pour ceux qui voudront prendre le repas sur place, la salle est sobre, et les menus comprennent une soupe et du riz en accompagnement. Nous y allons régulièrement en couple ou entre amis, et nous n'avons jamais été déçus de la qualité. Le meilleur restaurant de sushis de Caen !!"

"Unless you really have absolutely no idea of asian food, or are really truly utterly desperate for it, don't go!It wasn't just that the food wasn't authentic ( for example you can get excellent Pan Asian or Fusion food ), the dishes were just plain awful. The deep fried starters were greasy, and the steamed dim sum were just embarrassingly poorly excecuted. Instead of the usual lightness and succulence, the Har Gau and Siu Mai had thick casings and solid fillings. To make things worse, all the buffet items were luke warm to stone cold.Sushis were terrible as the rice wasn't made right. Too gluey with too much water and vinegar.And whatever you do, DON'T order cocktails. We asked for two mojitos, and we had no idea what they served us. We thought they gave us the wrong drink, but they confirmed a few times that they were indeed mojitos. I am pretty sure they had menthol in it???? Most disgusting mojito we have ever had.I tried hard to find something positive to say about this meal......but I struggle."
