"If you want a quick, hot and affordable meal, this restaurant is not bad. It’s located in the industrial zone. My friend and I ordered the complete meal which consisted of delicious bread, olives, soup (squash with macaroni), the main entree of pork entrecostas with French fries, a salad, and a small rice, dessert and coffee. And all these for 7.50 per order. It was a good meal and a good deal. This seems to be a popular place. I counted at least 40 people going in and out. The wait staff were really busy."

"We went here for a meal a couple of nights ago and had a really enjoyable meal. We had a selection of small plates to start, the standard ‘couvert’ so we didn’t actually choose them they were just put in front of us but they were very nice. For mains we had grilled ibérico pork and a squid and prawn espetada the squid was cooked very well! For dessert, tried a local Alentejo cake which was lovely and also the classic apple tart option which again, very pleasant. Two things that left a bad taste... Shoddy arrogant service from the man who owns the place. Our couvert dishes were charged at €2.00 each where as the table of locals next to us were charged at €1.50 each (they had the same). Not sure if it was because we weren’t locals but just a bit petty. Given the rudeness of the owner we couldn’t be bothered to question it! I’d recommend going if you’re in the area and fancy local cuisine just put up with the rude owner as the other lady serving called Isabel was really lovely and just double check your bill and maybe ask up front how much the couvert is!"

"A nice looking restaurant which is much bigger than it seems from the outside. Neat and clean with prompt service. A good selection on the menu. We opted for the lunch time special menu which offers a drink, bread and olives, a main course, dessert and a coffee for a very good price which varies slightly depending on the main course selected. The food was delicious. There were three of us and all of us enjoyed the meal. The toilets are clean but nothing special. The bill was a sheer pleasure. We will all be visiting again. This was a first but by no means a last visit."

"My dog was welcome! Arranged in advance, I was given a quiet table in the simple, but tasteful dining area. He had beef and rice, and although this is primarily a sea-food restaurant, I had a veal steak. Seth (my dog) finished his whilst I...had my soup starter. The steak was accompanied by chips and salad, finished off with a coconut-mousse which was divine. I washed everything down with the house white wine. This restaurant is run by lovely folks, and if I lived in Castelo Branco I would be a frequent customer."
