"Wow! Market spinach salad! Probably one of the most delicious salads I have ever eaten!! Definitely my new favorite thing at BP!! It's topped with oven-roasted mushrooms, marinated artichoke hearts, bacon and balsamic-roasted red onions. Finished with fresh tomatoes, crumbled feta and chopped egg. Mmmmmmm so good! Add a piece of salmon or chicken and it's even better!!"

"I went to the Subway in Castlegar with the intent of a sandwich. My friend suggested a salad. I was sceptical but was pleasantly surprised. While they use iceberg lettuce, don't let that fool you. The wealth and breadth of ingredients is rich with flavour and choices. I added chicken to provide a taste of protein. They heated the chicken, which I prefer, and it was topped with a spicy dressing. A great meal."

"First off the casino is right next door, if you can - GO THERE. the food sucks at the casino too, but I'm going to recommend them over this dive. this place is a joke, and not a funny one. I've written a review on yelp that best explains how i feel about this place - the following is a cut and paste - $8.00 for a lettuce and tomato sandwich. I shouldn't need to write anymore to stop you from wasting your money, but maybe i'll describe it to you.Remember when you were in grade 4 and your mom packed you a lunch, and in that lunch she made you a nice sandwich? Imagine you forgot about your lunch on Friday because it was pizza day, and you didn't get your sandwich until the following Monday. Now imagine someone telling you to pay 8 dollars for it. The sandwich is literally 2 slices of plain old bread, an over ripe tomato and a bit of wilted lettuce, wrapped in cling wrap. Maybe I have too high an 8 dollar sandwich expectation so lets move on.The service: someone hands you a sandwich and then charges you 8 dollars, plus tax, and then they charge you a debit fee on top of that of 50 cents (not the bank, the restaurant). If you've made it this far the debit machine asks for a tip, on a non skip able prompt, luckily you can type 0.00.The Decor: Remember when you went for lunch at your grandmothers house? She would lovingly set her old wooden table with a doily she had crocheted and you would pull up an old rickety wooden chair she's had since the great war. Grandma would place a big bowl of the most amazing tomato soup and you would watch the snow fall softly onto the window pane? Well now grandma hates you and is charging you 8 dollars for your sandwich.Seriously this place sucks. Bring a lunch, go to the casino or wither away from starvation those are your choices. Bon-appetit"

"I have been working here from out of town and have had a lot of meals at this great place ! The food !!! The food here is so good , it beyond what I would ever expect in a small town. It's sooooo good ! I got to meet the owner, he's the most humble honesty guy. He really has something special going on in castlegar If your in town, you need to eat here"
