"Stayed here overnight whilst on a touring holiday. The staff were very friendly. There was no food, but we were welcomed to buy takeaway and eat in the restaurant. The locals were very friendly and keen to tell us where to walk around the village. Accommodation was clean and tidy. Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4"

"Went in for lunch with my wife Friendly service, comfortable. I had a smoked salmon, cream cheese and rocket leaf sandwich on local granary bread which came with a good leafy salad. The sandwich was huge and well made. My wife had the quiche of the day, which went down well and she couldn't finish it, which is fine. We thought the tea wasn't strong enough but I guess it's a question of personal taste. I wouldn't say it was cheap: over £25. Parking: Car park was at the other end of the main street. Quite walkable. Parking was cheap at £1.10 per hour. Needed coins!"

"Absolutely amazing eating so much for her money! everything was hot and so well cooked! belly pork and 8oz burger to be specific, would recommend everyone! great atmosphere!"
