"Das Restaurant Sofra befindet sich etwa 3 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof Killwangen-Spreitenbach entfernt. Vom Bahnhof aus nimmt man die links den Hügel hinaufführende Strasse Richtung Spreitenbach, unterquert in einer Unterführung die Hauptstrasse und gelangt zu einer Kreuzung. Das Restaurant liegt gleich linkerhand der Kreuzung und befindet sich im Erdgeschoss eines Gewerbehauses. Ein Parkplatz neben dem Restaurant ist vorhanden.Das Restaurant besteht aus einer hellen, modern eingerichteten Gaststube sowie einem grossen Saal für Veranstaltungen und Spiele. Die Besonderheit vom Sofra ist jedoch eine grosse Aussenterrasse, die zur Strasse hin ausgerichtet ist.Wir kamen am Nachmittag ins Sofra und nahmen Platz auf der Terrasse. Das bestellte alkoholfreie Bier kam als Dose auf den Tisch (5 Franken). Zusätzlich bestellten wir einen Kaffee und einige Minuten später separat ein Stück Zitronenkuchen. Erfreut stellten wir hinterher fest, dass uns die Bedienung trotzdem den Kombipreis "Kaffee+Kuchen" für 6 Franken in Rechnung stellte. Das fanden wir sehr fair und löblich. Ungewöhnlich fanden wir, dass der Zitronenkuchen in Frischhaltefolie eingewickelt serviert wurde.Interessehalber schauten wir uns die Speisekarte an und stellten fest, dass das Sofra ein sehr breites Spektrum abdeckt: Pizza, Pasta, Kebap, Pide, Fleisch, Hamburger, Salate etc. etc. zu erfreulich fairen Preisen. Aufgrund dieser verlockend grossen Auswahl nehmen wir uns vor, einmal zum Essen ins Sofra zurückzukehren.Insgesamt gesehen ist das Sofra ein einfaches Restaurant ohne grosse Ansprüche an Luxus oder Ästhetik. Die häufig gut besuchte Terrasse beweist jedoch, dass das Sofra durchaus seine multikulturelle Klientel in Killwangen, Spreitenbach und Umgebung findet."

"It was supposed to be my birthday celebration dinner. I’d told them this twice at booking my table. Most restaurants make a small gesture in response when there is a special occasion. But not here. After we waited for over an hour for our...mains -and these only arrived after a complaint- it was now so late and we were by now so hungry that we just ate up. We didn’t want to go through the same agony of waiting and so did not order dessert. It was an altogether disappointing evening. We were by now alone in the garden, around us not a single table had been cleared. It was a shambles and even the admittedly nicely cooked fish didn’t make up for it."
