"When we visit digby every year, we make a point where to stop kfc for a bucket of the highest fine. the consistency and quality of the product is not as good as never and the personal is always friendly and professional. her recovery of a 70's dinner is Spot-on! only a few meal times are nowadays served in bucket format, so it is always a tasty bite when we skip the lid and inhale that familiar, comforting aroma. you can't beat this mix of crumbs and spicy. delicious. to next year, kfc."

"We stopped at the last restaurant on the strip "The Captains Cabin" , which was the only establishment which had empty seats, many in fact! After eating here I know why!Word of advice STAY CLEAR! I ordered the lobster wrap $15.99 which had 6 or 7 microscopic pieces of lobster in it the rest lettuce! Oh I forgot it came with mashed potatoes, which of course were "instant"! My wife ordered the Captains Table special Greek salad which arrived with absolutely no dressing! The poor waitress who was new was very nice. Very disappointed!"

"Excellent food. Excellent service. No gf menu, but waitress was happy to say what coukd are made gf. She also said if I saw something else on the menu that I want them to put me as well as possible. She was clear that the rice was not gf because of the wort, and frits are in a common frit. She recommended the baked potato as they are individually packed in tinfoil. I want to emphase that she only told me when she had a Gf menu!"

"I had the scallops that had 3 ways they served scallops! The breaded was deep fried as they should been with the breading coated! They were rubbery! The seared scollops which should be golden brown were black! The bacon wrapped scallops were too rubbery! All signs of over cooked! Close eye shows that these were frozen and commercial processed, since they were all the same size! None of the item were hot, at best was warm, including the mash potatoes! The carrots were too warm! I arrived just after the restaurant opened! This plate was $30.00 plus tax ! So I do not recommend the scallops at all at this restaurant, when they are situated near the well known Digby scallops ! The picture will tell 1000 words!"

"Good food and service just like their other location. Seating is limited however. We like the appetizers and the home made soups! It's also open all year (times change in off-season) which is a plus since Digby is limited after tourist season."
