All were excellently prepared and the portions were plentiful and our waitress was very attentive without being annoying. This will be our #1 breakfast stop at our travels to Virginia!"

"What I Was Looking For. New to Dillsburg, I was looking around to see what the town and area had to offer in regards to food. A friend suggested Ferrante's Pizza and Restaurant, so myself and a friend made the trip. Upon entering we were greeted by a very nice man (who I've come to know to be the owner) and quickly seated by one of the staff. The menu is full of items that are synonymous with Italian restaurants. Everything from a page of different types of pizzas, to a page full of hot cold subs, and also the quintessential entrees you expect to see (lasagna, pasta, chicken parm). I ordered a chicken parm sub, my friend ordered the baked ziti. Drinks were served shortly after taking our drink order. The food also was brought out in a very timely fashion. Even if it hadn't been, it would've well been worth the wait. This is some of the best Italian food I've ever had in an Italian restaurant (I've never been to Italy or dined at a jacket tie establishment). It was quite delicious. My sister (who I would later take) even enjoys the food and she's the pickiest eater I've ever met. The sizes are quite generous and the food was very well prepared. The pricing on the meal was also phenomenal. All the subs are 10 (perfect for a quick late-work day meal) and the entrees are very well priced. I've since returned to this establishment at least once every two weeks since this first visit. Not once have I been let down. Each time I visit, I'm greeted almost immediately by the owner with a smile. The food has been great, the pricing is still wonderful, and they're in the works to get their liquor license (as Dillsburg is recently no longer a dry township). If you're in the area, and are looking for a good, quality meal that won't break the bank, definitely visit Ferrante's."

"We ordered online from Chap’s last week; it will be the only time. The Italian Sausage looked like charcoal briquettes, and had no flavor. We got some sliced meat; we’re still trying to figure out exactly what it was supposed to be; we’re thinking corned beef doused with an entire bottle of liquid smoke. Better pulled pork can be had in the lunch meat section of your local supermarket, and their baked beans were straight from the Van Camp’s can. We threw out all of our sides; including the “barbecue sauce,” also known as ketchup. In the interest of fairness, the pork ribs were pretty good, just make sure you have some Sweet Baby Ray’s. I digress, but Baltimore just doesn’t have a good local food culture; pit beef is not impressive, Berger’s Cookies are nothing more than sugar bombs, and don’t get me started on Old Bay! The national chains are here for you; in Baltimore you will need them."
