"Finally got to eat here , always booked out but we finally got in. We booked and waited an hour for our table walked around the shops , was raining at times but we didn’t care. Bought nice things and sat for lunch by the window. It was worth the wait. The cottage pie was totally delicious and the bread and butter pudding was a huge serve that my husband thoroughly enjoyed. Food here is wonderful, the atmosphere very good and so old fashioned as it should be. Staff very helpful ,friendly even though they were extremely busy. We’d certainly return ."

"What a cute little cafe, with good food! The owner himself came out to grab our orders and kept the children entertained. Love the idea of supporting small businesses especially after COVID. Friendly locals around walking their dogs. Great friendly cafe with a lovely vibe."

"The meals we had tonight were absolutely 'top notch '. We have definitely found our new regular hangout. I couldn 't fault anything at all. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a warm welcome and they were attentive to our every need. We ordered the Rump of Lamb and the Panko-crumbed Chicken Parmigiana. Every element of the meal was prepared with care and dedication. My compliments to the chef. Obviously it is not just a job for him, rather a passion. Even though we were both full, we just had to try the desserts and coffe. We were not disappointed. The Chocolate Brownie and the Classic Scones were delicious. We were so impressed with the meal, service and character/ ambiance of the venue, that we enquired at the time regarding our daughter 's 21st birthday coming up soon."

"Sticky date pudding is the best here! I came here on Wednesday 1130hrs, my colleague and I were the only ones at first put it started filling up soon after. Place wasn't packed but at least half the place was full, surprising for mid-week but that's how popular this place is. The service is really good, I love the seating area near the big windows. You get a good view of the street. Tables are placed at a comfortable distance so each table has their own privacy. We shared a salmon on pancake main dish $28) and it was very good. My picture was taken halfway through the meal so it doesn't show that it comes with 3 pancakes. We also shared the sticky date pudding and each had a coffee. Perfect way to end a meal! I could drink the butterscotch syrup, it was that good! And the pudding was so moist and just absorbs the syrup. So good!! I'll be back to try the scones, apparently they're good."
