"Excellent friendly welcome by the host.We had the Formula meal for €19 for two coures.The Poke bowl and the Osso Bucco were both delicious, as was the crumble for pudding.The walk up the hill to the restaurant is definitely worth it.We will be going back to La Strega for the excellent service we received. "We had a wide variety of lunch choices but we were attracted by the lovely smells of cooking wafting out into the square that finally made us decide on this place. The two people running the place are totally into cooking and using fresh ingredients from the surrounding area. The local Cotes de Provence came from just across the valley other side of the hill and was delicious. I had the omelet which was served with fries and a lovely crisp salad. My spouse ate a croque monsieur. We split a dessert, had a cappuccino and another half of rose wine. Bill came to thirty five euros. This isnt a big place so a reservation is advised if you want to sit in the sun otherwise there are places inside and on the first floor up.I will go there again if ever i am in this area again."

"After we had been here twice before we brought dear friends and our evening at both locations, last year and the year before, we decided to come back. our friends were not good enough to visit, so we came from ourselves. we both ordered the entrecôte. And we flew with a pfeffer sauce. the eating was filthy, what tasted like yesterday the pommes and yesterday brot sat the scene. stringy fat derecôte and aqueous pfeffersoße €3.00 made us aware that this would complain us frustrating where to start. No one asked if we enjoyed the meal, so we paid and left. as brides who bought in front of location in the holiday home, a restaurant to take off the lists. geoff and tina"

"Fell upon this restaurant by accident however it was a happy accident and even though we ate out in Monaco and Cannes, this little restaurant was one of the nicest meals we had during our long stay in the region. Waitress was lovely and was...friendly and accommodating.....nothing was too much trouble. Atmosphere was perfect...intimate and relaxed. Steak was cooked to perfection and the Puddings were amazing! Will visit again when we go back!"

"Maybe it's years since we were last here and I can say not much has changed, outside the prices, The decor, hand written signs everywhere extolling the wines and specials. Fish of course is their speciality and they did not disappoint. Moules frites...sweet plump...little bulot moules were excellent. Wife had the grilled salmon again excellent and a very generous portion. Service extremely pleasant and prompt on a fairly busy Wed lunchtime.Wife finished with probably the biggest Cafe Gourmand we've seen..excellent. Will not wait so long for next visit."

"Je suis arrivé sans réservation jour de marché on m'a trouvé une place à l'ombre pour m'a petite nouvellement né et mon chien. Repas succulent prix plus que correcte vue la qualité de la nourriture et du service. À refaire !"
