"Very rustic atmosphere that is well maintained and food was top knotch for a late afternoon lunch. The French Dip Roast Beef sandwich was very good. Fresh bread that was soft, yet cruchy and chewy all in one. I will definitely be back to try their menuout further."

"We made an Opentable reservation weeks before and it as confirmed. I had read reviews that others did not get reservation honoured. We received a call the day of reservation to advise they were really busy and could not honour our original 7:00 reservation? Hmmm...I say... They wanted it changed until 8:00.. We had no choice but to go for 8:00 .. We were asked by other guests if we had the package we did not.So my thoughts are if you are on a hotel package you get in at the time requested if you are not staying at hotel you are pushed aside u til a slot becomes available.. As we were..Not happy.. Our food was okay. It was not alot for what we paid in Canadian dollars. I had 2 tiny peices of half cut bread upon arrival , no appetizer, husband had Shrimp..etiquette is always 5 ..nope you got 3 medium shrimp that was a ripoff! Dinner was a porckchop ,rice and a half corn on the cob burnt.. Banana Foster for dessert which was not made as I expected just bananas and ice cream flambed..Each had one glass of wine... $250 cdn ...Would not return as just too expensive. Waiter was nice but boy oh boy did we feel rushed ..Everything he did was in a hurry. The view was the nicest part of our dinner. It was supposed to be candlight but due to being in a hurry he never lit our table candle.. Live and Learn.. FYI..they dont prioritize Opentable reservations."

"Had a wonderful time at Hotel Exchange. Brought my in laws there from NYC. It was their steak night. What a deal! Ten dollars the dinner came with a salad, bread, NY Strip steak, mashed potatoes and green beans! $10.00!! All of our steaks were cooked to perfection, despite how busy it was our food came out quickly and it was very good. Our waitress was very friendly, bartender made a kick ass mojito. My family was shocked at how cheap our bill was and said a meal like that would be $50 or more a person in NYC. They weee very pleased and appreciated the relaxed home town bar. The outside patio was a nice way to end the night you could even see the lake a bit from out there. Highly recommend, causal easy going place good food huge portions and great prices. Very clean, nice staff."

"The restaurant was cute and the staff was great. We had NE fish chowder, kale salad, fried chicken, and pork belly rice bowl. The fish chowder was too salty to my taste so was the kale salad dressing. The fried chicken was delicious, the rice bowl wasfine."
