"We were instantly drawn into this lovely, quaint restaurant sitting above the Douro River and plan to return. On this particular day we were not hungry and chose to only have soup, salad and cheese. It is not fair or appropriate to judge their food quality by only these few offerings so I won't but the soup needed to be reheated. It seemed like our waiter did not bring it out fast enough so it likely got cold. The menu included several interesting dishes (principally seafood but some non-seafood). the pace of serving was very casual and at times non-existent as we sat and enjoyed the lovely sun. We will return and have a proper meal but for now lets say that this place is certainly worth driving out of Porto for and if only for the view. Food later."

"What a sound! small, but always so good, the dame can first come as a little abrupt, but she is really vey passionate about her restaurant and eat her. the best quality meal we had in the weeks stay and while we go home tomorrow, we will try to get back there tonight. so popular I would recommend you to book your table. the steak was so tender and the taste was to die as for the cod of my wife again the best she had and the portions are very good."
