"I have to start this review by saying never judge a book by its cover. We just finished a weekend in Carlisle PA for Ford Nationals and decided to do Hershey Park before heading back to NY. We wanted to do a nice sit down dinner at a non chain restaurant. We found Winners Circle Saloon on google and read that it had a great review rating and decided to give it a try. Upon walking into the restaurant, all I could think was what kind of place were we about to eat at the restaurant looked like an old Knights of Columbus. All wood paneling, wood floors, wood bar, drop ceiling and old carpet, all rather outdated. We ordered our food from a very nice waitress who explained why there were 40 people on the dance floor learning how to line dance. Food took a little long to come out, but once we started eating, we were blown away with how delicious the it was! One of the best restaurants I 've ever eaten at! We all ordered something different, from the crispy chicken salad, to tomato bisque soup, to brisket grilled cheese, all were delicious and perfectly prepared. Highly recommended."

"Eating here was amazing! sat with a large group that ordered at least 6 appetizers (climbs, scallops, scattered mushrooms, boom boom shackles, brioche, and something else). all were amazing! Garlic bread was also delicious! I had the tortellini carbonara and the dinner part was a great serving, more than what I could consume. it was delicious! while eating was great, the service was par. it took some time to get drinks, slow to get refills, and it's byob. byob?! never heard of a place like this, but whatever, I don't drink. I thought it was interesting. overall I give the square a 4-star. if the service was better, I would have got a 5-star service."

"Stop here in my way back to Melbourne, I just thought it was going to be some dodgy take away shop. The food was really good, the cabbage rolls were amazing. The salad was dressed really well. "You better serve. If you want to get a good place for the races, you have to call. Most people are not going until the races are over as soon as they are there. In addition, food seems too expensive. The only funny pro tip I can share is that the bar area is where the jockeys, owners and trainers hang during the races. You can get some insider tips when you bump into the right person"
