"The staff was very knowledgable and friendly! They even set up my app so I can order online! Tons of vegan options from snacks, sweets and meals. I haven’t had anything bad from there. Would highly recommend going. Reasonably priced for vegan options!"

"Edit: I also tried the buffet, and even eating was nice, I wouldn't say it was worth 140yuan. the restaurant is located in the 2nd floor of a tempel. there is also a buffet on the -1 etage, but it is quite expensive at 138yuan. I had the veggie pork and rice for 50yuan. the menu is in Chinese, but there are pictures for each dish. Chinese speaking staff, but they are helpful. I would recommend it!"

"MAYS has nice decor and the mall it’s inside of is cooler than the typical style you usually see. The menu also looks creative, there are many options, faux meat exciting! You think “omg, this place might actually be a good vegan friendly restaurant in China!”. Expectations are high. However, although the food was good, it wasn’t great, and it’s a familiar feeling of seeing a vegan/vegetarian restaurant underdeliver. I would visit again, but I wouldn’t make this a regular spot even despite the lack of competition. The price is reasonable given the setting/menu/food quality, but it failed to meet my expectations. I enjoyed the tofu with black pepper sauce and the crispy tortilla, but the tofu and mushroom roll I didn’t enjoy, and the salad was apparently quite basic."

"Altough it is certainly an elegant chain with many good choices for vegetarians, vegans will have a hard time as there are dairy in a lot of their seemingly vegan sauces. Pls ask your waiter specifically before ordering to ensure that all the non-vegan sauces etc. are removed. Especially mention fish sauce, cream and cheese"
