"Why 4 and not five stars? Well, a few reasons. Although the service was very good, the food was just okay. I ordered the vegan breakfast, which cost ₪71 for what you see in the pic. I was full at the end of the meal. We asked for another basket of bread and jam and we got one at no charge. The waiters and hostesses were real kind and courteous and cooperated with one another. The dishes were fresh and made with care. The vegan eggs tasted pretty close to what I remember the original to be. So that’s nice. But the rest of the meal was so so. The hummus side dish wasn’t spiced up, so it tasted “store bought.” The cauliflower in tahini could have been sprinkled with cumin or paprika. The avocado could have been given a little twist if it were seasoned with lime juice rather than the usual lemon juice. The babaganoosh also tasted somewhat regular, like the packages you buy in a store, and could have used oven baked garlic. A nice new treat was the skordalia, a Greek garlic/almond/potato dip, which I’ve never tasted before and liked a lot! The coffee was good but not great. Now the men’s bathroom was clean and tidy but stunk! How much does a stick of incense cost? For a breakfast restaurant with a good reputation like Benedict and with such generous customer service, I don’t feel that I got my money’s worth. There was nothing special or unique or even unusual about the flavor of the food. But I admit, I like my food savory. And when I go to a restaurant, I want to taste dishes that I can’t do or just don’t do at home. Another saving grace was the choice of music and the volume it was playing. Cheers!"

"Lehem Erez is the place to go if you are looking for a coffee shop cafe restaurant with great vegan options. Although the restaurant is not fully vegan, the menu is mostly vegetarian with only a few fish dishes and is full of salads and vegetable based dishes. Most of the dishes include dairy products that can many times be removed but the restaurant has really gone out of its way to create true vegan dishes. The vegan breakfast special substitutes an omelet for a lentil-chickpea patty in roasted pepper cream and the vegan shakshuka is made with tofu cubes and eggplant instead of egg. There is also a vegan antipasti sandwich, tofu cream cheese toast, and asian salad with mushrooms and tofu. I highly recommend trying out Lehem Erez."

"In my opinion, Gute has the best vegan dishes in the Herzliya Pituach area. I have had their vegan lentil 'patties ' dish served with salad and a side multiple times and it is always delicious. They also have a couple of other vegan options but since the patties are so good I never tried anything else. Gute is a casual restaurant where you order at the counter and carry a tray to the table. Note that the restaurant is only open lunch time on working days and sometimes has a line."
