"I was both thrilled and surprised to see fatoush salad on their online menu. It’s a Lebanese tangy and flavourful fresh salad made with lettuce, radishes, cucumber, tomatoes, parsley, lemon, sumac, olive oil, fried pita chips, cheese and pomegranate molasses. At least that’s what it usually is. What I got instead was a Greek salad minus the feta. They even used Greek dressing on this salad. It’s not at all a fatoush and it really just was a big plate of lettuce with a side garlic bread. Thankfully they didn’t charge me for this which is why I gave them a high rating for service but until they learn what a fatoush is they shouldn’t have it on the menu."

"The Eastside Bistro and Pub is now owned by a different company.It is now called The Vine Restaurant and Lounge.The last time I visited the food was OK, but there was 1 poor waiter (and probably 1 cook), to take care of the entire restaurant.Plus the cook would have had to look after any food orders from the lounge as well.Very slow service."

"I recently ate there with some friends. I ordered a hot turkey sandwich. It consisted of pieces of turkey, covered in gravy on some bread with fries on the side, topped with some cranberry sauce. I tried to remain positive as I told the server...i was hoping it came with mashed potatoes, She did offer to bring some on the side. I said don't bother. I was happy it had real turkey and not processed, but it was tough and it had a slight freezer burnt flavor to it. I did not finish my food as it was hard to chew and I doubted the freshness. When the server picked up the plates I advised her to let the cook know about about the turkey. She said she would, but did not offer any other solution. It had been a while since I ate there, now it will be very much longer."
