"I wanted to order the recording for my family last night and was very disappointed. The pictures looked amazing and we were excited to try. Unfortunately, the prices were high, but we thought it was worth it. After spending $66, we picked up our food, went ready to eat home and opened it to a half burger for a daughter and missing ranch for another. I thought something had to go since we ordered a children's burger, not half a sandwich. So my husband went back to fix it, just to find out that apparently, how the kids eat burgers come. Okay, weird? But he let her get it back because it was still wrong (Haatkäse and we didn't order cheese). Although he took the whole meal back and had to wait for the new burger, they didn't make him fresh fries. So he stayed with cold pommes when he came home. And they forgot the ranch. My daughters Burger was dry and not appetizing and she was (of course) still hungry. The rest of us was less enthusiastic about our food. Only regrettable to spend this amount of money on bad quality food. And if you give only half a burger, it might want to put on the menu, so people are aware. In the end, and probably the MOST unhappy? I published my concern (with much less detail) on FB and the restaurant decided to comment mockingly on my post with pictures of their burgers with the caption ?just here some Bombenburgers?. Never addressed the real question and by this comment showed that they do not care about their customer complaints and not even the need to treat them. Oh, good! The first and last time for my family? I recommend saving your money and going anywhere these values quality."

"I love Golden Chick but, the last few times I 've gone the bun is hard and crumbling it 's like they leave it out in the air and it gets stale!! I only get a 30 min. lunch so it 's hard to check it before I get back to the office....on a side note the Sweet Tea is amazing for this Texas heat and the staff is always so friendly!!!"

"When I first started here, it was definitiw 5 stars. I don't know what happened, but some things have changed. I admit her breakfast sandwich is good. I can't complain about it. the problem I encountered is with her sweetness. I bought a strawberry and cheesecake danish and a scones. the Danish was terrible. it had almost no filling in it and it was about 90 percent brot. I had to throw it away because it was very dry and was not at all edible. the slut was also very dry and difficult to swallow without much liquid. I don't think I'll be back soon, not to mention that they're always out of what I'm ordering."

"For the first time in Hutto Cafe to eat and what a lively little place! I was pleasantly surprised. The breakfast menu was not too big, but it had a variety of different options to suit any taste. The waiter was attentive and the food was delicious. It might have been a bit warmer, but overall very good. I could suggest adding the spice level of the dishes to your menu. I like spicy/warm, but the stomach can't take too much. We had Huevos Rancheros and Migas. While using butcher paper as tablecloths and adding Crayons to Doodle is fun, that is a lot of paper and Crayons thrown away every day... I'm sure. I want to check the deserts!"

"I live in Hutto and yet would rather drive then come to this CFA. I choose to drive 15 min to the CFA in Round Rock because of the quality of food, professionalism, and friendliness I receive there far outweighs the CFA in Hutto. I worked at CFA for 3 years in Tyler, TX for the best owner, Ikey Eason, and have never once experienced this sort of environment where everything is terrible. The first time I went to the CFA was in June and I got nuggets and a sweet tea. The nuggets were dry, the tea had a terrible taste to it, and when I went back to tell them of these issues and asked for a replacement, they replaced the items and they were still the same quality: disgusting. Thought, maybe it's just a bad day, I'll try again another time. I went back pretty soon after because I crave tea all the time, especially CFA tea. Same thing, tea was disgusting. I decided to go back again and ask if the brew was recent or old because it tasted very old. The staff said it was a new brew. I said it tasted really gross. They asked what I wanted, and I decided on a totally different drink. I decided to try the CFA in Round Rock to soothe my craving. Their tea was exceptional and to my expectations. I decided, again, maybe it was a bad day at CFA again. I tried one more time. I ate inside this time with my friend. We both ordered #1 meals with fries and teas. Again, the tea was gross. The fries were old and not even hot. I was so disappointed by the meal I purchased, that I asked for a refund and left. I decided I would never go to this CFA again. I now go to the CFA in Round Rock which is 15 min from my home, compared to the Hutto location which is 4 min from my home. Today, I decided to try again to go to this location in Hutto. I went because I usually get a side of whip cream for my dog after she gets her nails done at the local nail clippers. A tradition we have. When I went, I ordered a 12 count nugget, and asked for a side of whip cream. The lady said, oh we don’t give out free items. And I said, no I wasn’t looking for something free, if she could charge me for the whip cream, or even a side of ice cream. My dog can’t have ice. Ream bc it is upsetting to her stomach. The lady asked on the walkie of this was possible, and the responder said no. The lady asked even if I was willing to pay and the responder said no. I told the lady outside this is the 1st time they haven’t been able to do it because the CFA in round rock does it. She said she didn’t know. When I drove up, I tried explaining to the drive thru person that I would pay. It’s like they weren’t even listening. He just said no. I explained I am willing to pay. Still no. No “I’m sorry”. No “Leg me ask”. Just “no”. No explanation. I left, disappointed or course, but accepting this might be the policy. I gave my dogs the nuggets, which were hot, but hard to bite into. I decided to throw them out. I have never experienced this type of disappointment at a CFA before. I will never be coming back here again."

"At 11:00, I went to the door where I was told it was a minute before they opened, as some key people did not come in. I didn't say a problem, and they offered to put me inside the wind. Once I sat, Sheila, my server, was super appealing, fast and polite. Everyone in this process made the visit very pleasant. The food was great and came out in time."

"Great place for a lone diner. You can order a smaller plate, 1/4 lb brisket, two sides, and iced tea. Perfect. The peach cobbler is good but I'll wait for the blackberry. Not sure what to order, get their daily special. The dining atmosphere is comfortable. The tall tables near the windows let you look outside or watch the crowd. I tend to go on weekdays, I don't know what the weekend crowd is like. I imagine it can get busy. There's seating outside with umbrellas for shade. Maybe in the evening..."
