"Happy heart kona is such a gem. it's a cafe where simple things taste extraordinary because of the quality of the ingredients and the care that goes into the food. you can tell the owners have put their heart into the place and really make an effort to support the local community. my favorites were the fruit plate (amazing if you're visiting hawaii and want to try local tropical fruit you've probably never had before), the mexican indian burrito (can't find this delicious spice combo anywhere else), da pest with turkey (mac nut pesto is SO creamy) and of course, the vegan poptarts (still dreaming about the guava flavor). we ate here 3 times during our visit to kona and can't wait to come back!"

"A great little find. On the side of the road but with parking. I had the Rebel burger with the Parmesan and Pepperoni fries. A perfect vessel for the homemade hot sauce, ketchup, and mustard. My wife had the Veggie Salad. Also EXCELLANT. We are on the island for 2 weeks and we will be back"
