"This retreat is led by maddie, which as well as an amazing guide on the retreat, is also an extremely good cook! I went to the deep heart retreat, the Saturday to Thursday was with the possibility to stay another night for a small fee. the basic and the accomodation is a rent house with a beautiful garden and magnificent sea view. maddie also has the rose sanctuary near. the timetable included two group meetings per day, starting on Sunday morning and ending with the last session on Thursday morning. there was an indoor session per day and one in the sacred. maddie took us through simple meditation techniques and shared tips to live at the moment with compassion. I don't want to go too much detail as everyone has his own trip, but in summary, really good. all meals and healthy snacks and hot drinks are included. the breakfast is itself serve chalk, toast etc., plus maddie’s house made delicious granola, yogurts and obst. the lunch was either home-made suppe or baked potato with fresh bread and fresh salad etc. In the evening, for example, shepherdess was linseed cake, greens and byhalate. light pudding after dinner. there are outdoor sessions that contain a low radiation, and the guest house and the rose sanctuary have some steps. I recommend this retreat to relax and recharge and find a bit of space for yourself."

"After a day in the beautiful salcombe the curve was attracted to the gastro bus sign. regretted it within 30 seconds. the road is an alpt room, autos squeeze past, which is essentially an autobahn. about two miles determined as soon as we can turn, we're out of here. then reached the end of the road and burned a bit of £3,50 to park the car in nowhere land, but needed a break. ordered a veggie burger and a cheeseburger, at £6.50 not cheap, but oh my quality without shadowing a doubt best burger ever! it is worth coming here. beautiful beach etc. etc. etc. only the best setting, best eating, big coffee so glad that we made the effort. well made gastro bus fantastic end of our day out."

"Really nice breakfast brioche bun … sausages were perfect but fried eggs were overcooked and no runny egg yoke (it was white and overcooked). Service was excellent and they are dog friendly. The coffee was nice but a little watery for out liking. The deli is fabulous … local produce as well as some from further afield. We will definitely visit again."

"When we arrived for our booking the manager had no record of the booking as he has no access to Open Table! He did have a table, which was lucky! It was all a little rushed, not as clean as I like and the food came out of the kitchen very quick. Not a place to go for a relaxing and romantic meal!"
