"Ich mag die Kanalwurst. Preis/Leistung stimmt auf alle Fälle. Ich würde nicht sagen, dass es die Beste ist, aber für den kleinen Hunger zwischendurch kann man das auf alle Fälle machen. I like!"

"I heartily recommend the restaurant Zum Bayern on the outer ring of the Berlin Beltway. Take the Zernsdorf exit and turn onto Friedrich-Engels Str. The restaurant is located on the left where Friedrich-Engels Str. turns into Karl-Marx Str. (both reminders of the area’s Communist past)....One might not expect to find a Bavarian restaurant on the outskirts of Berlin, but certainly none better is to be found in all of Bavaria. As to be expected, waitresses serve in Dirndls and tables are set with blue and white checked tablecloths but otherwise the Bavarian decor is tastefully muted. We all ordered the house speciality Schweinehax’n, braised pork shanks set under the broiler to bring the skin to a delightful crispiness. Served with dumplings, red cabbage, ample gravy and beer, it made a most memorable meal. The chef and owner speaks excellent English, so that even guests with a limited knowledge of German can expect to be well-served"
