"Emerson’s is a restaurant we eat at every trip we make to the Hunter. We always pick a new one but Emerson is a constant because the food at Emerson’s really is an event you don’t want to miss. The banquet is an excellent opportunity...to try all the amazing things Emerson does with food! Our favourite place in the Hunter, breakfast lunch or dinner Martin and Margarita"

"My partner and I had such a nice time, the staff was incredibly special a girl who doesn't fancy us feel really comfortable. would recommend this place to everyone, but above all I recommend the aioli for the chips! I felt terrible for one of the servers, as I don't think they were all asked for a small pick-up container only for the aioli."

"We visited my birthday breakfast and everything was perfect. from the pretty waitress who offered us a place in the sun on the lounge, so warmly greeted and served us a beautiful coffee while we decided what to order. our meals were served within 15 minutes, where we were drawn to a table in the morning sun. eating was nice, the coffee fantastic, one of the best milkshakes I've ever tried. After we were finished, it was my birthday that the beautiful waitress came back with an absolutely brilliant dessert. I wish I could remember what it means, everything I can say is wow! great everything and very good value. can not recommend the place enough"

"Yuck. This place is a great example of why you need to research and book restaurants to eat at before leaving to go to the hunter. I do not understand why, in the hunter valley, where there is so much good food and produce available,...the food has to be so bad here. It is way below your average pub meal. Way too much oil, clearly none made on site and all straight out of frozen meal packets. Nothing seemed fresh at all. Seriously, go anywhere else and the meal will be better."

"The wife and I are in the hunter valley with a young baby, which makes restaurants a bit challenging. So we ordered a Mojos picnic basket, had it delivered to a winery and were so pleased with the result. We sat in the sun, overlooking vines, baby rolling around on the picnic rug with a glass of Pinot Grigio and beautiful food. It was bliss. The Mojos picnic food was great. Antipasto, cheeses and bread, with a main course meat and two salads, and brownie for dessert. Too much food for two ppl- we got two meals out of it. $65 I think it was. We were very impressed by Mojos quality and professionalism. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who doesn't like/finds it hard to sit down for a long lunch in a nice restaurant. And they can even show you a nice place to eat it (like they did for us)."
