"I live in N Cape May just up the road from this restaurant and have been very hopeful that this restaurant would turn a corner with Exit Zero involved. Unfortunately, the improvements have been minimal. The food is ok at best (this has been the main improvement), but the the service is atrocious. Last night, I needed to visit the bar twice to get sharing plates and then second round of drinks from the bar while our waitress had disappeared after the initial order. The restaurant was by no means overwhelming busy, but we only saw our waitress for the initial order and then for the check. Sadly, this is largely representative of their table service. The best service I received since their re opening was when they were self service with food orders from your phone, table runners to bring it out, and drinks directly from the bar. As far as food and drinks, they were out of red wine (none) and only had Chardonnay. They were also out of their Island Guacamole. As mentioned, the food is ok. On my three visits I 've had the cauli bites, chicken nachos, hot chick (not hot), guac BLT, and American burger. They were all just standard nothing exceptional. With so many great places to eat locally with good food and service, why go for standard food and bad service? No need for me to come back. Do better Exit Zero."
